Holy Moly! I have not posted in months. I haven't been able to think of anything to post in awhile, but I got this idea from my good buddy, Karen's blog. I thought it would be fun for you to get to know us a little better.
We have been in nursery for about a year now and they originally told us, "6 months", I am starting to get very irritated with our little punks! I want out.....I will never asked to be released though. I'll make Randy do it.
I haven't had a full time job in almost a year....I wouldn't even know what to do with myself if I had to work for someone right now. Thanks Randy for providing for our family!
I am learning how to be a great cook. I LOVE to try new recipes and I LOVE to bake! I am even thinking of starting a baking class for little kids. One of the sisters I visit teach son goes to a class and they love it......hummm, do you think that's a good idea?
Randy wants to go shooting all the time...anyone want to go with him, so I don't have too? :)
I would love to go hiking every weekend, but don't have a partner to go with. Sad face.
I want to start making crystal jewelry...I am just waiting for the place to start teaching classes again. I will let you know when I start.
I really want to get our house painted, but I am too lazy to do it....I don't like to paint! I will be happy if someone would love to do that for me. :)
I turn 28 tomorrow and I feel like I am still 18 (maturity wise).
Randy and I will be married a year in about 3 weeks. Wow, I can't believe how time flies.
Well, that is good for now....Hope you enjoyed!

These are the posts I love.
ReplyDelete#1-Nursery needs good leaders...our ward has the hardest time filling that calling...I said I'd volunteer and the Primary President (my friend) asked for me and apartently they must think I suck or something as they said NO...(not completely true..the RS President threw a fit at the thought of me being released, but still!) Tanner HATED nursery for the last six months BECAUSE of his teacher - she was just released and he no longer has any problems with nursery...or maybe move up here and be HIS nursery teacher ;).
#2-If you begin making jewelry I'll gladly accept a few pieces ;).
#3-I'll ship my MIL down there to paint...she loves it (I've already mentioned she's crazy, but this just confirms it...who LOVES to paint!?!)
#4-Happy Birthday...I still feel way too young to be my age too.
#5-I MISS YOU.
Yes, actually, I did enjoy the update. Happy B-day tomorrow. No advice on the nursery situation; I had to move to a different ward to get out of that one! I am volunteering to be your hiking buddy October through April. You are on your own in the summer time, I am not crazy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cam for the post; I've been waiting to read one from you! I actually enjoy painting and have almost finished painting our whole house! I wish we lived closer because I'd go hiking with you too. As far as nursery, you guys must be doing a great job with the kids and that's why they haven't released you. You always had more patience than me with little kids-I think that's why I've never been put in nursery:) Move to Tucson-I need good help with the young women!:) Hope you had a happy b-day!
